Juana Merino grew up in Chicago, IL where she attended The Illinois Institute of Art and graduated in 2015 with her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She grew fond of fashion through photography which led her to pursue a career in designing dresses and pieces rather than shooting them.
"That Dress is So Not Fair LLC" -- inspired by a phrase from the drama Gossip Girl-- was built with the determination to create unique, stunning dresses that are sure to capture every gaze.
Juana's ambitions are strong. Her never-ending goal: for the world to one day recognize her vision and art within her dresses. A story that will take you on a journey with every detail made in the dress.
